Health issues will confront you throughout the day, and making the right choices is important to your overall wellbeing. You have to care for your body if you expect it to care for you. But fitness is much more than just exercise.

The term fitness refers to your emotional and physical wellbeing. If you experience stress throughout the day, and do not have the means to deal with it emotionally, the result is physical devastation. This isn’t meant to be a doomsday threat, but it has been shown over and over again in research that stress can cause numerous medical issues including obesity.

When you are stressed, your body is less able to regulate blood sugar levels and your metabolism is affected too. The result can be weight gain that seems to have a mysterious origin. With fitness life coaching, you learn how to better handle stress in a way that has less physical impact.

Dealing with stress through fitness life coaching can have far reaching consequences on your longevity and even your happiness. Fitness is also about diet. You are confronted each day with the need to make wise food choices. How you see food’s role can have a real affect on how you eat.
